Join us for an event to bring together school leaders, superintendents, and women in leadership to support women educational leaders and to inspire more women to seek leadership positions in education. This program will include discussions on developing leadership, wellness and self-care, cultivating confidence, and female perspectives on leadership pathways. More information

During busy and challenging times, these brief, virtual check-ins are a great way to stay connected with colleagues. These sessions will be facilitated by Cabinet Committee Members around topics pre-identified by cabinet-level leaders and will be an opportunity to share ideas with colleagues around the state. Join us for a combined event to bring together cabinet level school leaders, superintendents, and women in leadership to discuss critical topics and share best practices. More information
July 23 - 25, 2023 Summer Institute At Harvard The Institute is targeted to school leaders (superintendents, assistant superintendents and directors) and provides rich opportunities for personal reflection and intellectual conversations with colleagues and experts in the forefront of their fields. You will have an opportunity to hear from four Harvard faculty on issues such as leadership development, developing high quality school systems, diversity and inclusion, and student achievement. Why should I advocate?

Policies adopted in Albany or Washington can shift the odds either for or against success for our members and the schools they help lead. So advocacy – for members, with members, and by members – is one cornerstone in building toward success. Our advocacy staff constantly strives to give members the most accurate and timely information possible on developments affecting school funding and policy, both in Albany and in Washington, both to help influence decisions before they are settled by policymakers, and to interpret them once they are enacted into law.
