Join us for a two-day workshop for new superintendents discussing fiscal leadership, labor relations and negotiations; strategic planning for your district's future, ethics, wellness and balance, and hear from a panel of past NYSCOSS presidents on their career experiences.

Join your colleagues for a conversation on common issues and best practices. These sessions will be facilitated by Cabinet Committee Members around topics pre-identified by cabinet-level leaders and will be an opportunity to share ideas with colleagues around the state.

A Personal Wellness Program with NYSCOSS/LEAF & Equitable Advisors. The superintendent position requires you to juggle many different things all at once. Unfortunately, taking care of everyone else can come at a price, as many superintendents neglect their own personal well-being.

Supporting Women in Educational Leadership

Through a partnership with the New York State Council of School Superintendents (NYSCOSS), the Leadership for Educational Achievement Foundation (LEAF, Inc.). and Long Island University, we are pleased to offer the Women's Initiative on the Long Island University campus. Join us for this one-day program to bring together school leaders focused on supporting women in leadership and to discuss critical topics and share best practices. The Supporting Women in Educational Leadership event will focus on supporting women educational leaders and to inspire more women to seek leadership positions in education.
