Mark your calendars for November 5-6, 2026, as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Women’s Initiative and bring together superintendents, directors, administrators, teachers and board members for an event dedicated to supporting women in leadership and fostering inspiration for more women to pursue leadership positions in education. In collaboration with Franklin-Essex-Hamilton BOCES, NYSCOSS and LEAF, Inc., we are delighted to once again present The Council’s Women’s Initiative in Lake Placid, NY.

Cancellation Policy:
The Council and LEAF, Inc. work hard to accommodate the unpredictable nature of superintendent schedules while keeping high quality programs affordable. All cancellations must be made in writing and mailed, faxed (518-426-2229) or emailed (membership@nyscoss.org) prior to the event. A $75 cancellation fee will be charged on all cancellations received by October 29, 2026 (one week prior to program), a $100 cancellation fee will be charged on all cancellations received after October 30, 2026 and there will be no refunds after the program start date. No shows will be charged. We regret we cannot accept telephone cancellations. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing.
Billing Information:
Official invoices will be issued by the FEH BOCES Business Office after the conference, through contract billing or direct invoicing. Payments may be made prior to the event, but they will not be processed until after the conference. Registration and billing will follow the Franklin-Essex-Hamilton BOCES process.
