Early Career Superintendents Institute
The Early Career Institute is a professional development program specifically designed by and for early career superintendents. Topics featured are critical issues chosen by participants and change yearly. The program offers practical advice from veteran superintendents and experts in the field and time to reflect on professional practice. Instructional Growth / Learning, Leading and Lasting Impact
Hilton Saratoga Springs
8:30 - 11:15 am / Alabama
Are you preparing your educators to bring learning to life in their classrooms? How do you cultivate the spark for a systemic learning movement across buildings? How can you lead for change and engage resistors as well as early adopters in cultural transformation of learning? School systems across the US are using a multi-year system of professional learning designed to grow teacher leadership and build capacity. As district leaders, we'll collectively explore resarch-based, continuous improvement models where teacher leaders learn to create and deliver high quality lessons which provide interconnected experiences that support, amplify, and bring greater meaning to classroom learning. Presented by Renee Cartier, Senior Director of Professional Development for Discovery Education.
