Attendee Online Registration Process

  •  Attendees register here for the 2019 Winter Institute & Lobby Day! 

  • By submitting your registration, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set forth by the cancellation policy and acknowledge that you accept said terms.

  • To submit your registration, first select either the Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard) or Invoice option. When selecting the invoice option, you can add a purchase order number (PO). If you do not have a PO ready, select Submit Registration then forward the completed PO to LEAF, Inc. offices.

  • All POs must be made payable to LEAF, Inc. and all invoices must be paid prior to the event.

  • Fax or email a copy of your PO for tuition payment, after you register for the event online, at 518.426.2229 or e-mail

  • Conference registrations will be accepted with a check, PO, or credit card.

Registration Confirmation

All attendee event confirmations will be sent via e-mail directly from The Council’s and LEAF, Inc.'s confirmation system to each e-mail address provided. This e-mail confirmation is separate from the hotel acknowledgement. 
If you have not received your confirmation within 24 hours after registering, please contact Melanie Seiden, Assistant Director for Membership, or 518.694.4877.

This e-mail confirmation includes the housing link. Only registered participants will receive this link.





Registration Cancellation Policy

The Council and LEAF, Inc. work very hard to accommodate the volatile nature of superintendent schedules while keeping high-quality programs affordable. We have also updated our cancellation policy to align with those offered by our national organization (AASA) while ensuring sustainable, high-quality programs. 

  • All cancellations must be mailed, faxed (518.426.2229) or e-mailed ( to Council and LEAF offices. We regret we cannot accept telephone cancellations 

  • Cancellation requests received four weeks prior will be subject to a $100 cancellation fee.

  • Cancellation requests received less than four weeks are not eligible for a refund. However, substitution or name changes will be honored for those wishing to be replaced by another representative from their school district.

  • It will take a minimum of six weeks to receive a refund. 

Educational Session Presenters and Sunrise Cafe Facilitators

We appreciate educational leaders and strategic partners who are interested in presenting educational sessions and facilitating sunrise cafe discussions. Those who are selected to present must be a paid Institute attendee.

Consent to Use Photographic Images 

Registration and attendance at, or participation in Council meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to allow The Council to use and distribute (both now and in the future) the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities.
