Attendee Online Registration Process
To register for the 2018 Winter Institute and Lobby Day, attendees can register online here.
You will be asked to sign in immediately to the right of the screen or create a new account (non-members).
Select the option “Register Now,” then select "New Registration." Make your session selections and continue through.
Note: Certain sessions are only available for new superintendents or second and third year superintendents. If you do not qualify for those options, but add them to your cart, your registration will be modified accordingly.
At the attendee information page, please review the cancellation policy at the bottom of the screen, select your method of payment then select “Submit Registration” to finalize your registration.
Please fax a copy of your Purchase Order for tuition payment made payable to LEAF, Inc., after you register for the event online at 518.426.2229 or e-mail your scanned Purchase Order to email@example.com.
Registrations will be accepted with check, purchase order or credit card.
This e-mail confirmation includes the housing link. Only registered participants will receive this link.
Registration Cancellation Policy
The Council and LEAF, Inc. work very hard to accommodate the volatile nature of superintendent schedules while keeping high quality programs affordable.
All cancellations must be mailed, faxed (518.426.2229) or e-mailed (firstname.lastname@example.org) to The Council and LEAF, Inc. offices. We regret we cannot accept telephone cancellations.
All cancellations will be subject to a cancellation fee. We understand that extenuating circumstances may arise that will prevent you from attending our Institute. While this is the case, please understand that our cancellation policy is in place to offset expenses incurred by The Council and LEAF, Inc. on your behalf.
Expenses are finalized several weeks prior to events so cancellation fees are based on the expense that The Council and LEAF, Inc. are obligated to incur based on registration numbers. Cancellations received close to an event of this magnitude prevent The Council and LEAF, Inc. from making the appropriate changes to prevent these charges.
A $75 service charge will apply for all cancellations of conference registrations postmarked/faxed/e- mailed before February 23, 2018.
Cancellations postmarked/faxed/e-mailed between February 23, 2018 and March 2, 2018 will be assessed a $125 service charge.
Refund requests received after the end of the business day on March 2, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. through Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 1 p.m. will be assessed half the cost of the Institute.
There will be no refunds available for cancellations received after 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2018. No shows will be charged the full event tuition/
It will take a minimum of six weeks to receive a refund.
Registrations may be transferred to another person by written request prior to March 2, 2018. After this date, all changes must be made on site. Institute registrations will be accepted with a check, purchase order or a credit card.
Presenters and Facilitators
We appreciate superintendents and strategic partners who are interested in presenting featured sessions and skill building workshops or are sunrise cafe facilitators. Those who are selected to present must be a paid Institute attendee.
Consent to Use Photographic Images
Registration and attendance at, or participation in Council meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to allow The Council to use and distribute (both now and in the future) the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities.
